Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and write technical content including workflow descriptions, installation procedures, operating instructions, maintenance and troubleshooting information.
- Conduct interviews with SMEs to gather data for content. Responsible for handling multiple projects simultaneously across a variety of topics to be documented.
- Coordinate, manage and control documentation and training material development projects and deliverables, working with designers and infrastructure team for publishing when needed.
- Define audiences and work with managers to identify and organize content on the same topic for those various user roles.
Qualifications:
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate highly technical information into clear, concise language for internal and external users.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with engineering, marketing, SMEs and external team members to learn specifics to be documented
- Experience with defining templates and formats for both technical documentation and user guides.
- In-depth knowledge of electronic publishing tools, including version control, organizing page trees, incorporating visual elements (diagrams, images) and classifying/tagging information to direct it to the right audience.
